Over 125 years of Hotel Friese, 125 years of hospitality and tradition. The Gramberg family has been in the catering and hotel business for over five generations. In all these years there have been many changes and renovations that have made Hotel Friese what it is today. A respected, firmly established and very popular hotel. Until 1965 our house was called ‘Hotel Phönix’.
After our parents Gertrud and Carl Gramberg, we, Maria and Tjark Gramberg, now run the Hotel Friese.
The atmosphere in the hotel is unmistakably Frisian. This includes the fact that many regional products are used in our kitchen and also that the hotel operates a sustainable energy management system that relies on green electricity and also saves energy through low-energy construction and heat recovery.

The 3-star superior Hotel Friese has 27 single and 21 double rooms with a cosy, quiet and familiar atmosphere. Our four-star hotel -up AnnerSiet- directly opposite, consisting of a main building plus extension, has 16 comfortable double rooms and 5 comfortable single rooms. You can also stay in 8 comfortable suites, 2 of which are barrier-free. Our upscale furnishings in a maritime style with many lovely details create a very unique and special setting.
